The D3D Hall of Fame is dedicated to promoting inclusivity in youth athletics by organizing events and providing resources for children and young adults with disabilities.
“Overall, the event exceeded my expectations. I knew it would be special, but when you see the look on those kids’ faces and know they had the time of their life at your ballpark, it’s something. As Dave said in his team meeting, ‘you will remember it the rest of your life.’”
“Yeah, man! Dave has inspired me BIG time. To have the will and the Donovan Hand, MLB Pitcher drive to want to help kids try to achieve their dreams... It’s a testament to how much he cares about others.”
“I watched a baseball team of young men come out onto the field and create a morning of magic with our kids.”
People with Disabilities
“Another individual put on her Facebook page that she had an
awesome time at the camp and that for the first time she was made to
feel like she didn’t have a disability and wasn’t in a wheelchair. She
felt that she was treated as an equal.”
“Really, really cool stuff happened that day not just for my group but for everyone involved. The players were so sweet and really got into the event. The kids were glowing with happiness!”
“My experience with Disability Dream & Do was, hands down, the
highlight of my year.”
